05/11/2014 A very good 1972 Mille Miglia Red Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. This car is equipped with the original Numbers Matching 454 cu in., V-8 Motor, Black Deluxe Leather Interior, Power Brakes and Steering, and an Automatic Transmission. This car looks Great. The Undercarriage and frame on this car are in Excellent Condition. The cars Mille Miglia Paint has a Nice Gloss Shine, and the overall condition of this car, as you can see from the photos, is very good. Only 3,913 of the 27,004 Corvettes produced this year had 454, LS5 option. This car has been garaged kept. This is the last year for the popular removable rear window. Motor was professionally rebuilt about ten years ago and has less than 5,000 miles on it. Have receipts and older appraisal. This car Sounds, Drives and Handles Very Nice! This car has the following features: Exterior: Mille Migilia (Paint Code #973) -- Excellent Condition. The body on this car is super straight. The cars paint has a nice glossy shine. The overall exterior condition is very nice for a 42 year old car. This car has always been garaged kept and it shows. The car was professionally repainted about 25 years ago. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest, the paint on this car would rank about 7.5. This muscle car looks Super and sounds even Better. Interior: Black Deluxe Leather Interior -- Door Panels, and Seat are all in OK Condition. Carpet could be replaced and shows average wear. Center Console and Dash have no cracks but center radio and gauge cluster in need of replacement. Interior of this car is good but not great. Car has original Owners manual. Top: T-Tops. (Painted) Excellent Condition. No Cracks or Leaks Mileage: Just over 120,000 Original Miles, but entire drivetrain is either new or rebuilt. Title States Exceeds Mechanical Limits. Less than 5,000 miles on entire rebuilt drivetrain. Frame: Excellent - Clean and Very Solid. Garage Kept. Motor: Numbers Matching 454 cu.in.Engine. This car runs very strong and has been very well maintained. Motor has been rebuilt. Previous owner spent several thousand dollars rebuilding motor to stock specifications and although I do not have receipts to show, but one can tell by how this big-block starts quickly and idles smoothly. Transmission: Automatic Transmission completely rebuilt by TCI with brand new TCI torque converter. Original transmission and converter included with sale of car. Needless to say, car shift great better much than stock. Rearend & Chassis: Rebuilt Original 3:55 Positraction with new bearings seals, etc. New heavy duty rear leaf spring and adjustable stabilizer bars. New Moog Front Coil Springs correct for big block car. Car sits tall and proud both front and rear. Exhaust: Factory Cast Iron Manifolds, New Aluminized Steel Exhaust, fully welded all the back into Flowmaster big block mufflers. Correct 2.5 inch original exhaust tips. Car Sounds Great! Tires: Good BF Goodrich T/A, White Lettered Radials. 275/60-15 Rear and 225/70-15 Front. Bumpers / Emblems: Chrome Door Handles, Emblems and Exterior Mirror are all in Excellent Condition. Front Bumper is very solid and original condition. Rear bumpers replaced and in excellent condition. Other: This car is a Super Nice Driver. It has been very well maintained and I have owned the car thirteen plus years. The body and frame on this car are excellent. This car is very tight. It drives and handles excellent. Motor has been recently rebuilt and with the original Quadrajet Carb starts easily as designed in 1972. Press pedal to the floor twice to set choke, crank to start, and engine runs on fast idle on its own.
